The Lasgun is a powerful weapon widely used throughout the Imperium. It is one of the weapons available to use in Dune: Awakening, and can have deadly effects for those it is used against. Whilst interactions between a Lasgun and a Holtzman Shield can prove deadly, this mechanic will not be part of the game.
Notes and Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Due to the nature of the game, the interaction of Lasgun's with Holtzman Shields will not be present. Instead, when a player aims a Lasgun at someone using a Holtzman Shield, the Lasgun will power down.
- This is to prevent the spoiling of enjoyment of the game. Funcom had to ask permission from the Herbert family to make this change in the game.[1]
